PartidosYa is a mobile app for booking sports fields. We designed the reservation flow around one constraint: someone standing on the street with fifteen minutes to find a free pitch and lock it in. Search, pick, book. A few taps, no friction.
— The Challenge
Booking a sports field is a decision made under time pressure. A group is already organizing, and someone has to find a free pitch and confirm it before the plan falls apart. PartidosYa needed a mobile app where that whole sequence, finding a field, checking the time, reserving it, fits inside the few minutes a person actually has.
— The Solution
We designed the app around the shortest possible path to a confirmed booking. The home screen opens on availability instead of on a search box, so the first thing anyone sees is what they can actually reserve. Field cards carry only the three details that decide a booking, location, time, and price, and nothing that delays it. The reservation runs in a few taps with no account wall in the middle, and confirmation is immediate and unambiguous. We validated the screens through user testing before handoff.
— The Process
We designed mobile-first and prototyped early, because a booking flow only shows its friction once someone tries to move through it. Wireframes set the sequence, the prototype made it tappable, and user testing exposed the moments where people hesitated. The screens went back for another pass before handoff, with the number of taps to a confirmed booking as the measure that settled each revision.

The Result
